Cut to the chase:
- Start Menu > Type in cmd
- Enter “netsh winsock reset” press enter
- Restart your computer
Yesterday I received my first iPad, the new iPad. I had trouble connecting it to iTunes and could not even sign in to the iTunes store. I ran the diagnostics in iTunes and saw “Secure link to iTunes Store failed.” I went straight to the search engines and went digging. Quickly seeing that I was not alone. I tried disabling Windows Defender, Windows Firewall, and AVG antivirus. No Help. Also, flushing the DNS, also no help. Uninstalling all Apple programs was not helpful either. Not until a lot of digging was I able to find the steps above and that worked. Good Luck!
